KZen’s mission is to build new technological foundations and services for the support of crypto assets. If you are a reader of our blog, you know by now we will be launching soon a revolutionary crypto wallet with unparalleled ease of use and security.
This is made possible by our deep commitment to research in the field of threshold cryptography and other fields. Today we are delighted to announce that a new research project lead by KZen will be funded by the Zcash foundation. The goal of this endeavor is to provide a cryptographic library to support threshold key generation and signing in Sapling—something that we believe will seriously improve the way Zcash and all its properties are supported in a wallet.
We believe in simple and hyper-secure self-custody of crypto assets and think this approach can help deliver on this vision.
We thank the foundation for their trust. We are a young project and still have a lot to work on and this means the world to us. We feel part of the ZCash community and we will do our best to contribute to it.
